Format text: headings, colour and size
Text sections on your site and your blog posts share one editor. Click the text and the formatting bar opens above it.
Format your text
- Click the text in a Text section on your site, or in a blog post. The bar opens above the line.
- Pick Paragraph or Heading 2 to Heading 6 in the first menu.
- Select words and press Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough or Link.
- Press the dot to colour the words, or TT to make them smaller or bigger. Clear formatting removes all of it.
- In a section, press Done when you finish; changes are saved as you type. Press Publish to show them to visitors.
Good to know
- There is no Heading 1 in the text: the page or post title is the Heading 1, and one per page is best for search engines.
- Headings are plain on purpose: colour, size and bold are for the text around them.
- The text looks the same while you edit it as visitors will see it.
