Your website in several languages

Build your site in any of 31 languages, then add more: every page, menu item and blog post is translated for you, and each language gets its own address that search engines can find.

How translation works

  • The builder writes your site in its main language from your description.
  • Add a language in Settings, and every phrase on the site is translated, then read again by a second pass that checks it the way a native speaker would.
  • Your business name and site title stay as they are. You can tell it which words never to translate and how to translate the rest.
  • When you edit the main language later, the change is translated in the background.

What visitors and search engines get

  • Each language lives on its own address, such as /de/menu/, and visitors switch language in the header.
  • Pages declare their language and point to their other language versions, so search engines show the right one.
  • Buttons, forms, the booking widget and dates speak the language of the page.

Languages on each plan

Languages on top of the main one: Free 1, Starter 2, Business 3. A language goes live for visitors when you publish.

What it does not do yet

  • Machine translation is not a sworn translation: read legal texts and prices in each language before you publish.
  • The same page cannot have different sections in different languages: languages share one layout.

Questions

Can I correct a translation by hand?

Yes. Every phrase can be edited in Settings, and your edit is kept when the page changes again.

Are blog posts translated too?

Yes. Articles are translated whole, sentence by sentence, with their links kept in place.

Will Google see each language?

Yes. Each language has its own address, is listed in the sitemap and points to the other versions, so search engines can show the right language to each visitor.
