Get listed on directories
Directories like Google Business Profile, Bing and Apple Maps are where customers and AI tools look you up. SEO & GEO -> Business listings shows which ones matter for your trade and country.
Get listed
- Open SEO & GEO -> Business listings. Top directories is picked for your type of business and country.
- Press a directory to open it. Step 1 has a button that opens the directory, where you create or claim your listing.
- Use the same business name, phone and address as on your website.
- Step 2: paste the link to your listing and press Add listing. We open the page and check your name, phone and street.
- The link is added to your website code (sameAs). It tells Google and AI tools that this profile belongs to your business.
- The directory also appears in your social links, turned off. To show its icon to visitors, open the site editor, then Header or Footer -> Social links, and turn it on.
What the labels mean
- Listed: your name, phone and address on the listing match your business details.
- 1 issue, 2 issues: something differs or is missing. Open the directory to see what, fix it there, then press Check again.
- Linked: the site did not let us open the page. The link still counts.
- Found on Maps: Google already shows a place with your name and address. Claim it in Google Business Profile.
Change the list
- Add directory finds more: type a name, then press the one you want.
- Not relevant for my business removes a directory. Find it again with Add directory if you change your mind.
- Google Business Profile always stays on the list.
