Get found in search and AI answers
Search & AI shows how search engines and AI assistants see your site and what to do next. It works once your site is published.
Check your site
- Publish your site first. Until then the screen says Your site is hidden from search.
- Open Search & AI and press Scan my website. Later the button says Scan again.
- SEO checks marks each check with a dot: green passed, red failed, grey could not be measured. Full report explains each one.
- View analytics at the top opens your visits: where people came from, their devices and the pages they opened. Next to it you see your views for the last 30 days and a small chart by day.
- Speed is measured by Google on a phone, as part of the scan.
Next steps
- Next steps shows what to do next on the To do tab and what is finished on the Done tab, with the points each step adds to your score.
- Each step shows why it matters, about how many minutes it takes and a button that takes you where to do it, for example Add your listings or Ask for reviews.
- Open What this means to see why it matters and what to do.
- Most steps close by themselves after the next scan. Steps we cannot check from here, such as Search Console, you close with Mark as done.
- Directories, Reviews, Keywords and AI answers each have a few short tips on the right. Use the arrows to read them. Press the cross to hide a tip you know - it stays hidden.
AI visibility
- After your site is published, we ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Grok the same five questions your customers would ask, in your language and city, and show whether they name you.
- The number at the top counts answers: for example 3 / 25 means you were named in 3 of 25 answers. A tool that did not answer is named on the screen and is not counted.
- Hover the icons next to a question to see who was named instead of you, and in what place.
- AI visibility checks are part of Starter (every week) and Business (every day). On Free the screen shows what they include and a See plans button.
- The first check runs after the first publish; then it repeats on the schedule of your plan.
- Ask again now repeats the check: once a week on Starter, once a day on Business. Right after any check it waits a day.
- See what to fix opens the steps that get you named: reviews, listings and a complete Google Business Profile.
- Each question also shows your place in Google.
Keywords
- Open Keywords and press Start. We look up real searches in your country from what your business does and keep only the ones you can serve, each with one line on why it matters.
- Add keywords finds more from a word or phrase you type. Tick the ones you want and press Add keywords. Each search counts toward your monthly keyword searches; the screen shows how many are left.
- High or Medium is our estimate of what a keyword is worth to you. The number next to it is average monthly searches.
- Create page sends the keyword to Assistant, Create blog to your Blog assistant. It uses AI credits by the work it takes, and the page or post lands as a draft for you to review.
- A keyword moves to Done once its page or post is created. Topics your Blog assistant plans appear in the same list.
- The bin removes a keyword, and later searches will not bring it back.
Reviews
- Reviews shows your rating and reviews from Google Maps and how nearby businesses compare.
- Ask customers for reviews: pick a customer who has an email and press Write the letter. You see the whole letter and can change the subject and the text before you send it.
- The button in the letter goes to the reviews link from Settings -> Business details (Where people leave you reviews). Without that link the letter cannot go out.
- One person gets at most two letters, and every letter has an unsubscribe link.
Good to know
- A new scan can start 5 minutes after the last one.
- AI crawler access lets you open or close your site to answer engines and training crawlers. Search crawlers always stay open. Each switch saves at once.
- Your sitemap is made for you while the site is public.
