Speak instead of typing
You can talk to any of your assistants instead of typing. Press the microphone, speak, and your words appear in the message box.
Speak step by step
- Open any assistant in your dashboard.
- Press the microphone next to the Send button. The first time, your browser asks to use the microphone - allow it.
- Speak. A moving line shows that you are heard, and a timer counts up to one minute.
- Press the tick to put your words into the message, so you can check them first, or the arrow to send them straight away.
Good to know
- The cross, or the Esc key, throws the recording away - nothing is sent.
- Speak in any language: it is recognised on its own.
- After one minute the recording stops and your words go into the message.
- The recording is sent to OpenAI to be turned into text and is not kept anywhere.
- If the microphone button is missing, your browser cannot record - type instead.
