Change your free address
Every site gets a free address on our domain the moment it is built. You can change the first part of it at any time, and the old address keeps working.
Change it step by step
- Open your dashboard, then Site settings -> Domains.
- In the Subdomain row, press Edit.
- Type the new name. Use only letters, numbers and dashes.
- Press Save.
What happens next
- Your site opens on the new address straight away.
- The old address keeps working and sends visitors to the new one, so links you already shared do not break.
- If the name is taken, the screen says so - pick another one.
