Delete a business and keep a copy

You can delete a business at any time and bring it back within 14 days. Before you delete it, you can download its posts and pictures in one archive.

Delete step by step

  1. Open the business you want to delete in your dashboard.
  2. Open Settings -> Deleted businesses.
  3. Press Delete business under the name of the business.
  4. To keep a copy, press Download media and posts first. The archive has every post as a page you can open in a browser, every picture and the logo.
  5. Press Delete business in the window to confirm.

What happens next

  • The site goes offline at once.
  • The business waits in Deleted businesses for 14 days. Press Bring it back to restore it with everything in it.
  • After 14 days the site, the blog, the customers and every picture are gone for good.
  • Pictures from the shared photo library are not in the archive: they are not yours to keep, but they stay visible on your posts while the site is online.
