Take bookings on your site
Visitors can book a time with you straight from your site. You set the hours and services once; every booking then lands in your weekly calendar.
Set it up
- Open Bookings and press Set up bookings.
- Your time zone: type a city or a country and pick it.
- When you take bookings: switch on the days you work and set the hours. The + button adds a second interval, for example after lunch. Copy the first open day to the rest fills the other days the same way.
- What people book you for: press Add a service. Give it a name, a length and a price - leave the price empty for "price on request".
- Check it and switch it on: look over the summary and press Done.
Your week
- New booking: pick a service, a client, a date and a time, then press Create booking. Busy times are struck through.
- Click an empty quarter of an hour in the calendar to start a booking at that time.
- To move a booking, open it and press Move, or drag it to a new time. On a phone, press and hold first.
- To cancel, open the booking and press Cancel. This cannot be undone, and a booking in the past cannot be cancelled.
- No show and Took place mark how the appointment went.
- When several people take bookings, see Let your team take bookings.
On your site and by email
- In Bookings, Settings -> Show booking on the site turns the booking form on your site on and off.
- There you also choose how soon a client can book, how far ahead the calendar is open and when the reminder goes out.
- You and the client get an email when a booking is made, moved or cancelled. The client also gets a reminder before the appointment, unless you chose Do not remind or the booking is closer than the reminder time.
- A client cancels with the link in their email. Moving a booking is up to you - clients cannot do it themselves.
- To take payment when a client books, connect Stripe - see Take payments for bookings with Stripe.
